Sundays

As most of you know Sundays are my favorite day. Today is a totally free day, I get to do whatever my heart desires, which means a run this early afternoon, then a nap and painting
and bird watching, a little reading. I am also preparing for a trip to Santa Fe in a week. I still have last minute things to do to my portfolio. And I am getting ready to apply for the Pollock/Krasner grant.
I sent away for the application years ago, then forgot all about it. Lately I have been reminded and I am doing it! If you win, they basically give you money to live for a year and do your art, which is great, but also winning would put me on the map. Competition is great, but you can only try.
Have a most wonderful Sunday! What are you up to today? XOXO

it is 3:36 pm your time (i think) as i write this so your day is still young. are you reading? painting? blogging? cozying with the boys? whatever, enjoy!

Oh, that would be wonderful to win to persue your art. My daughter was born in Santa Fe, NM - In retrospect, I did love the climate, once I got used to the high altitute, only the winds bothered me howling around the Adobe houses we lived in. That sounds so sad to me.
Glad you had a relaxing day and hope the kitties are doing well.
Kind Regards,
Doris :-)

Good for you for putting your name in the hat. I wish I had done more of that in my life. I guess it's not too late to start!
