e.e.cummings' day. Yay

I am loving him so much these days. This poem he
wrote fits perfectly with my last two posts, only
cummings makes it more clear and says it in such
a wonderful way that I read it in awe.
since feeling is first
who pays any attention
to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you;
wholly to be a fool
while Spring is in the world
my blood approves,
and kisses are a better fate
than wisdom
lady i swear by all flowers. Don't cry
-the best gesture of my brain is less than
your eyelids' flutter which says
we are for each other: then
laugh, leaning back in my arms
for life's not a paragraph
And death i think is no parenthesis
What a great way to start the day. It is my day
off and after doing some chores I will be playing with
clay-I will have photos soon of all my efforts.
This photo is one I took a couple days ago.
Have a happy, joyful Thursday!
*I did type this poem as it was to be read, but blogger
mushed it all together, does anyone else have this trouble?*

Great poem. "Kisses are a better fate than wisdom." Ah yes..... Blogger mucks up the line breaks in my poems too even when I transfer them from the wordprocessor. Lovely photo. Have fun with the clay.

Yeah for poetry! That and opera are things I'd like to appreciate more. Some one told me they are both cultural, though. This country tends not to like either...Blogger is a mystery to me sometimes too. Love the cloud pix!

I can feel the restlessness settle as you read the poem.
