Happy Easter!

No hunting Easter eggs in Taos today, it is snowing. I took this photo yesterday and there is a bit more on the ground today and it is still coming down. I told you it snowed in April :-).
I am comfy in bed reading a wonderful book called "The Painter from Shanghai" by Jennifer Cody Epstein. Very rich and textured. I have plans for a yummy breakfast and working on my book. I also have a beautiful bowl to glaze today. What are you up to? XOXO

Good early afternoon... It is warm (72 degrees) here just east of Austin. We had a bit of rain this morning probably from the weather front that just passed through Taos. We had waffles, eggs & a bit of bacon for breakfast. Now the sun is out, I may transplant some flowers in a few & plant a new hydrangea. Then it's a bit of watching the Masters Golf on TV. I'm reading 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez just now, but generally in the evening before bedtime.
Have a lovely day...
Lizzy :-)
PS~ I hope to spend a week or two in Taos this summer. We love staying in the Burch Street Casitas...

i like your spirit in this post, annie--nicely content to just do what you do.

i'm sooo glad i do not have snow. i'm glad you don't mind yours. i'm waiting for a bit more warmth to get out in my yard and start my spring cleanup--nice and concrete!
hope all is well with you
:)

My parents live in Albuquerque and they had lots of hail. We are actually having better weather in Spokane, just nice spring rain. We had a great brunch with my family, and then I curled up with a good book and took a nap. :0)

I agree. Good day for a read and a glaze. I look forward to an image of it completed. I miss the vast skies and clouds over the desert in New Mexico. I miss the mountains. The light is much more diffuse in the Bay Area.

Sure sounds cozy. I went to a yoga class and then met up with a friend for lunch. My hubby and I spent some quiet time together as my daughter was with her grandparents.

All weekend was rainy, windy and wintry here. Made for a good time to stay in the studio and get some things finished up.

Annie, the shrines are made entirely of chipboard........lots of "stuff" layered on. Ready to hang on a wall.

It is HOT. Close to 40 degrees. Anyone wants to swap places?
Belated Easter Greetings. Hope your Mum is recovering. Hugs

Oh my Annie! I hope your Easter Bunny has snow shoes. :-)

I have just posted my Sunday- the weather is such a contrast to yours- Spring was dancing big time -it felt like everything was rejoicing in the sunshine.
