HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, I met 2 of my best boyfriends on Halloween and broke up with my worst :-). These days I don't do much but rent a scary movie, but I love to see people dressed up and having fun. What ever you do on this day I wish for you a happy and safe Halloween! XOXO

Animal Wednesday

These are photos I took last week, the top one a bunny, who posed very nicely for me and the second is a bird I can't name as I can never get a good photo, I was lucky to snap this on a hike, they don't sit still for very long, but the males have the most beautiful blue feathers, you can almost see it here. What I did with my Non Blogging Time

First, I went to Santa Fe, to see my beautiful friend Becky (top photo) who gave we permission to post her photo and I also visited my good non blogging friend K and went to Home Depot for Venetian plaster for my Winter supply. Becky and I went to some galleries and saw some awesome art. Always an inspiration.

I also made some art of my own while on my break, this box is drying and then has to be fired, glazed and fired again, the lid already cracked and I have made another since this photo was taken. Also working on paintings for my ETSY site, soon to be shared.

Oh, and I took photos. Fall is here and it is a beautiful, stunning time in Taos.

I have a few more photos to show you, but will save them for Animal Wednesday.

I read and facebooked (is that a word?) and watched DVDs. Saw friends, had fun.

I finished "Lost" and actually cried, I admit it, I did. I have started another JJ Abrams series "Fringe" It took me a while to warm up to it and I don't love it like "Lost", but I am starting to adore it. One thing about Abram's shows I really like is that the women in them are smart and strong.

I am blogging again, but have decided to do less of it, so if I don't visit as often as I should, I am sorry, I still love you, but it seems I need more time for other things, I will be lurking, but not always leaving a comment. XOXO

For Robyn

The darling and talented Robyn finally received her giveaway surprise. It took me a while to get it done and then took almost another two weeks to get there, but she has it and now I can post what I sent her. I made the spoon special and then at the last minute decided she needed a heart pendant too because she can't have too many hearts! She is so kind to post about it, what a doll. XOXO

I am not totally sure I am back to blogging yet, but today I felt like peeking in. I will feel it out and see. I have been very busy since I last posted and I have taken photos :-), which I will post at a later date, but the one above is just a bit of the color around here now that it is finally Fall.

Blogging Break

I will be disappearing from the blogs for a while, a week maybe two maybe more.
I won't be posting and I won't be visiting many of you either, perhaps just to check in. I will be missing you and I love you, but for reasons I won't go into here, I need to do this. Blogging which has been such a joy has now turned into a bit of a nightmare and I need to take care of myself and disengage. Know that I will be thinking of you. XOXO

New Porcelain Ceramics!

Animal Wednesday, Coyote!

These are not wonderful photos, but the coyote was a ways away and I tend to not have a steady hand when I am taking photos of wild animals, I get too excited. Coyote always means changes for me, so I will be looking for them coming up. xoxo

Reminders

It's Sunday and I glazed ceramics all day, 40 pieces, actually I have been glazing all week in the evenings after work. I am finally done. YAY! I should have some new things to show in a week or so. If they turn out that is. Remember that box I made a few weeks ago? It flew apart. No more box. There is a learning curve with each new clay. I have now found my clay, and will stick with it. Porcelain is my favorite and I am now working with very pricey porcelain and I love it, I just have to learn to build boxes with it :-).
