New Collage for Taos Selects Show

I finally finished one painting/collage for the show. I have worked the last 3 weeks on this piece. 18"x 18", venetian plaster, rice paper, oil, India ink, micro pen, graphite, handmade paper, thread, rust and tea stained paper, colored pencil, and cold wax on cradle board. I don't have a title yet, perhaps you could all help with that :-). I am doing another raven for the other painting, going to take a couple days off before starting it, I have lots of time as I started early on these for once. I have had fun doing them, but I can't wait to get back to my abstract work! Missing it a lot. I did many close ups of this piece because  you just can't get the details without them. If you take the time to enlarge by clicking on the photo you will get even more detail.
I always love to hear your thoughts. XOXO
PS, This collage has been tumbled.

Animal Wednesday

This guy came to my bird feeder the last couple of days, I have never seen these bird here before. I love his iridescent greenish head, though you can't see it too well in the photographs. Can any of you out there identify him? Happy Animal Wednesday! XOXO

Animal Wednesday

These are photos I took last week, the top one a bunny, who posed very nicely for me and the second is a bird I can't name as I can never get a good photo, I was lucky to snap this on a hike, they don't sit still for very long, but the males have the most beautiful blue feathers, you can almost see it here. Happy Wednesday! XOXO

Sweetness

I took this photo a couple days ago, under my portal.
This sweet little guy posed for me and this is one of
many shots I took. All the other birds flew away, but
this one was brave and stuck around.
I have been busy storing nuts for the Winter :-).
Life is so good. Today I looked in the mirror and
into my own eyes. I looked past my 52 years and I
saw a happy little girl of around age 8 :-), she is still
alive and well and living inside me :-).
What do you see when you look into your own eyes?
XOXO
