It is unfortunate, but I could not get a good photo, I even lugged the painting outside and all around the yard, but I did the best I could. The bottom photo is the whole painting and all the rest are detailed shots to try and give you an idea of what it really looks like. There is a lot of subtle detail going on and if you bother to enlarge you will get a much better idea of what is going on. This painting is huge, 47"x 47"or 4' x4'. Venetian plaster, acrylic, pastel, crayon and graphite on board and the title is "Dusting the Link". Please let me know what you think :-).
I am working on 4 new paintings all going at once and last night I made a huge leap, hopefully I will have something to show in a week or so.
Happy Monday! XOXO

I LOVE it! It's so playful and full of life. I see a spirit being in it with two black eyes at the top. I really like it, Annie, and can't wait to see your others. It is so much fun to see how the paintings are developing.
Suzanne, Thank you sweetie. xoxo
fabulous. i think working large has changed your work and the spaces in the work. love the textures. to me it feels like an underwater world.
Suki, Thank you. It does feel in the depths of the sea to me.
My new piece I am working on is very different, I am excited! xoxo
annie, you are on such a roll. i love what you are doing. it seems (to me) that something has expanded, released, stretched, widened. your work has a depth to it. it's embryonic, flowing.
that's the best description i can come up with. :^) i have a good feeling about what's ahead for you!

Ah, layers upon layers, things changing shape, shape shifters and mind drifters. Touche'.
Annie - I love it! It reminds me of the ocean, or maybe it reminds me of how ocean life would look under a microscope. :) Either way, it has movement and life and energy! Lovely work - xox Pam

Pam, Thank you, you are a doll, so glad you like it and it reminds me of the ocean too.xoxo
wow it is fantabulous, love the free way you paint, so imaginative!
Your work always looks like a celebration to me, and in this (amazing) size you must be celebrating life itself!
The plaster really lends itself to this work, and I also love the title.
Imagination on overdrive:Awesome!
it's stunning annie! i would love to see it installed, first so i could get a true feel for its size and then to see how gorgeously it will compliment a room. is it going in a gallery?
Oooooooooh Annie! This painting is gorgeous! It's fabulous at this small size, I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in person, full-size. All I can say is "WOW!"
xoxoxo

Oh wow a double quilt size!
What is the title. I looked at it for ages and thought it reminded me of a mermaid swimming free near the sea bed. I love the colours and wow all those little details- almost seaweedy in textures and bubbles of air. Beautiful Annie. Will you be making cards of the image for those who haven't the wall space?
