This is another new painting, a diptych, 12"x 12", Venetian plaster, oil and graphite on board, "Six and a Half Stones on the Path". I appreciate your thoughts. This one will also be going to my ETSY shop soon. And I will be tumbling :-).
Happy Tuesday! XOXO

Hi Annie- missed your last post! But I agree... they do need to be seen in person to truly appreciate all the textural elements & detail- art is hard to photograph! That said, looking good & full of energy.
Looks like all is well.
Happy midweek!
Hi Annie! I love them. You always get such energy in your work, and yet there is balance. Tricky stuff, but you, Oh Talented One, pull it off! :) xox
Never heard of a diptych before. BUt it is sure fab! Gonna have a look at it in your etsy right now. Hugsxxx
Becky and Pam, Thank you,xoxo!
Jossie, Thank you, check back as it is not on my ETSY site yet, I will likely add it this weekend :-). xoxo
Beautiful!
xoxoxo
I agree wholeheartedly with every word KJ posted. And we WILL meet in Paris one of these days I just know it deep down inside myself. Annie this is wonderful work, the whole thing revolves around the red portion for me. It's like the sun relating to the rest of the world as depicted in this painting. Well that's how I see it anyway. I never know for sure if I see what you meant me to see. There is a deep sense of peace in this painting Annie and lots of warmth as well.
Sorry to be so absent lately, I am trying to find more balance in my life (largely unsuccessfully of late but I AM trying!). Lots and lots of love xx Jos
Angela, Thank you! I have tried leaving comments on your blog, but blogger keeps eating them, just wanted you to know. xoxo
Jos, Nothing you see in my work could be wrong because you get it dear girl. And yes, Paris, sooner than later! I now have a way I can call you, once every 3 months or so. I will explain later. I do miss you, but I have been bad at emailing myself. Love you, xoxo
Thanks for letting me know about blogger eating your comments, Annie. Blogger must be very hungry these days, because it's been eating some of my comments on blogs, too. Grrr.
xoxoxo
