The Holographic Universe

You all know about my new adventure with "Busting Loose from the Money Game" in which
Robert Scheinfeld says that the world is a hologram. I have been doing some research and I am more and more believing this to be true. It answers so many questions. Actually many REAL scientists came up with the idea because they were looking for answers and found them in the holographic paradigm. Two major scientists came up with the holographic universe separately.
Karl Pribram and David Bohm. Most of this stuff is way over my head, but I find it fascinating.
What if everything we know to be true and solid is not real, made up by our minds and beliefs.
I find it very exciting, and it means to me that anything truly is possible. Like this story I heard on the radio news a few days ago: A couple were being foreclosed on , and were packing up their belongings. They found an old Superman comic book in their basement worth a half million dollars. How wonderful is that! An example in my own life, is when I needed a pet sitter and wanted a vet tech because three of my pets need special care. I was having no luck with finding anyone, so I was thinking, if everything is made up then why can't I just find a vet tech? I could find a million vet techs if I need them, but I only needed one, so I did "The Process" around the vet tech issue. Next day I walk into the vet's office and ask the first vet tech I see and she says YES, she would be happy to do the job. And she did a great job and she said she would be happy to do it again if I needed her. I am sure doing this work I will have many more stories to tell.
I know at least five blogger buddies who have bought the book and two people I know here in Taos, I look forward to hearing your stories as well. Here are a few more links (and Here) if you have an interest. I would love to hear what you think about this idea.

...I am only a little way into the book...but I think for me it comes down to 'be flexible, as everything is made up by our minds and beliefs..so anything is truly possible. I am still having money issues but seem to be happier anyway...

Teri, once you start "The Process" you will be amazed at how fast you will change.xoxo
Suki-Oh, I think many people have said this, Robert has just put some things together that really work. Instead of just reading there are actually things to do that are life altering, but simple.xoxo

It's an interesting theory... I'll have to check into that book one of these days- when I'm not so busy working to make money. ha ha! Seriously, can't wait to hear more of how this process is working for you!

Oh, Annie. I'm so glad you are manifesting. May you be free from the money game:)

Becky-:-). I have learned that "working" is not the only way to make money. Actually I think once you really get that, money is easy. I am not there yet, but I will be soon and I know it will feel great! I do know that I spend more freely and I worry less, but I still "work".
Mermaid-It is not really about manifesting, but about freedom and joy. Manifesting is a by-product.

I don't know the book that you refer to, but what I believe myself is that life is the extent of our imaginations and therefore anything is possible is we believe.

best wishes

Well I am on my secoond go at reading this Annie. I kind of faltered around half way through. I think my scientifically based mind-set is just not used to so many foreign concepts all being linked together like this. Such a strange hypothesis to begin with and then extrapolated in ways I find hard to give creedence to. I hope you don't think I'm being critical Annie, it's not that at all. Just hard for me to get my head around that's all. Slow learner :) xoxo

Anne, dear Anne....you and I look at this from different spectrums....BUT......if it works for you and makes your life better, than it gives me great pleasure for you. I, certainly, am in no position to say what is right or wrong, what it real or not....if it feels right...then it is!!!

Love, always,

♥ Robin ♥

I don't know this, but I am SO happy it is working for you Annie. I'm looking forward to hearing many more great stories full of freedom and joy! (and abundance like kj says). ;)

Kj-Yes, but it is about so much more than abundance, it is about freedom in all ways.
Jos- No worries darling Jos, perhaps if you read some of the links, and read what actual, real scientists say about this, it would help. Robert scheinfeld and I are not scientists, just trying to put it all in simple to understand terms. I hope you give the book another go,just try the "process" out a week or so and see how it "feels". Good luck. xoxo
Robin-We all have our paths to follow and everyone will not follow the same path :-).
Lori-Thank you!xoxo

Wait so if the whole universe is all in our minds does that mean you and everyone else I know is in my mind only?

Annie said...

EOM-It gets complicated, but everyone is real in their own hologram, but when you step into another's you are both acting a part for each other. At least that is how I understand it. It makes my head spin, so I try to not think about the details :-).

The Process is very much like a teaching in Dzogchen Buddhism. The part where you reclaim energy from the eggs has overlaps with aspects of the Tibetan ritual of chöd that Tsultrim Allione lays out in Feeding Your Demons, don't you think?

Jos - I think at some point you have to give up on wrapping your head around it and just do it. It's a leap of faith. Then when the weird stuff starts to happen, you no longer have to worry about understanding why or how it works. You have your own experiential proof that something is going on.

Annie said...

Kelly-I am so happy to be on this journey with you! Yes, I agree it is very much related to feeding the demons. I find getting my power back to be the most amazing thing I have ever done. I am changing on a daily basis in major ways. And weird stuff does happen!
The world becomes very unreal. Down the rabbit hole Kelly, happy to have you with me :-).
Great advice for Jos.

I'm so happy the process is working for you, Annie! I don't have the book but have read snippets of it and intend to read it during the winter...my favourite reading time.

I can't wait to hear about more experiences you have following the book's ideas!

Melanie-I was wondering where you were. Glad the computer is fixed!

So I find this interesting. I shall have to go to the book store and do some reading.

I havent read this book so cant relate directly to it. However, I can relate many of my own experiences based on other books I have read and all connected to the law of attraction. somehow, somewhere in the Universe, there's this powerful so called law of attraction which makes things happen. At times, events in the my life changed either for better or not, and somehow things just get back on the right track and better. I think its a bit heavy...but still it works. You are doing good Annie :)

I think sometimes, what we're all thinking is pretty much the same thing,,,just under different labels. Maybe.
I read a fiction book: "From The Corner Of His Eye" by Dean Koontz which I loved. It's about a boy who is able to travel into different dimensions; his "others".
And who knows,,,that could maybe be possible too. There are so many mysteries, and we all "see through a glass darkly" (at least for now)

Annie said...

Poetic Artist-Welcome. Thanks for stopping by, let me know if you read the book...xoxo
M.Kate-I know the Law of Attraction, this book goes way beyond that :-). xoxo
Babs-Yes, life is a mystery, for sure and I love pulling at the strings :-). xoxo
