Updates and Prayer Requests

Well, the boys are both holding their own and the fluids get harder to give, not easier as I thought, but I get it done. I have no idea how long they will live, but I aim to give them the best until they leave.
I heard news about several people I love very much, bad news and I need prayers and good thoughts. The first I cannot name as she would kill me, but let's call her K, she was just told she has cancer, I am not sure of the details yet. My cousin R's cancer has spread to his lungs and he needs prayers. Then there is my mom, who while she is doing really well, has a lot of pain in her legs. And last, but not least is Renee, who is having a really bad week, health wise. Thank you for thinking of them and sending out love.
On an upbeat note, I bought sparkly lights to hang as I have never done this and I NEED to get into the spirit of the season. I also need some fun and to do some art. I need to start taking some care of me this week.
I know I have not been around much, but I hope to catch up with all of you this weekend.
Love and hugs. XOXO

I will remember all these requests in my prayers tonight--heading to bed shortly.

I don't know what the exact situation with the cats is, but one other thing for nutrition/hydration, if you (and they) are up to it, is something we did to nurse my sister's cat when she was ill, along with the hydration shots: Get a container of chicken livers from the grocery store and put some in a bowl. Add hot water to cook them a little--then "slide" them down kitty's hatch (kind of like giving pills).

I am still hoping for the best with everything.

Hugs Annie. I did a little shout out on my blog for your shop as the bowl is in use holding gold frankincense and myrrh. It was so useful when a car was on fire a few doors down as the smell from it was terrible. Your bowl was heavenly to breath in the smells of Christmas.

I'm so sorry to hear about the people around you. Well done for persevering with the cats' fluids. It must be helping if they are strong enough to argue with you and make it harder.

Hugs

I'm finally able to catch up with my favorite blogs, and am so devastated by all the sad news, too. Prayers all around, but it doesn't seem to help, does it?

I don't know what I'd do if we had to give our cat fluids, since she doesn't take any meds well. It's not something cats do well. I wish you all the very best with your dear little furry companions.

Take good care of yourself, too, OK?

Hugs and love,
Angela

Sparkly lights will work their magic, I am sure (I'm putting some up this weekend too).

As your kitties feel better, they will fight the fluids more, but just know that whatever you get into them is going to help, even if you have to skip a day here and there.

I will keep your family and friends in my thoughts. Somehow at my age, I lately have been having anxiety at the thoughts of losing friends and family, so have been making time to visit and talk to them more...hence less blog time but you just never know what the future holds and of missed opportunities.

Sparkly lights, God I will sell my soul for some sparkle.

Love you Annie and I will keep in my heart all those you love.

Love Renee xoxo

PS: I have my eye on something in your Etsy shop and I'm off to do some shopping right now. :)
