Tagged!

The beautiful, talented editing queen, Erin Davis tagged me! I love these questions. Here are my answers and at the end I will tag some of you.
1: What is your current obsession?
Well, you all know it is making ceramics! Right now though I am into painting and I have too many obsessions to name, but two new ones are Alice Neel the artist and Emily Dickinson the poet.
2: Which item of clothing do you wear most? Anything casual, jeans, yoga pants, my favorites are my Life is Good t-shirts and my hoodies.
3: What's for dinner?
A huge salad! Then something yummy for a treat after.
4: Last thing you bought?
Groceries!
5: What are you listening to?
My cats meowing and talking to me, like they always do.
6: If you were a god or goddess, who would you be?
No Gods for me, but I would not mind being a saint, and my favorite saint is Saint Francis of Assisi.
7: Favourite guilty pleasure?
Watching movies and I also love "The Dog Whisper" on DVD and of course "Curb Your Enthusiasm"
8: Reading right now?
This weeks issue of the New Yorker, I read it cover to cover :-).
9: Okay...what were you thinking about just then?
How much I love the New Yorker :-).
10: Who's your hero/heroine?
I have way too many, but the ones that come to mind this second are the Dalai Lama and Albert Einstein and I love Kathrine Hepburn.
12: Funniest thing you saw in your life?
The Seinfeld episode of them waiting to have dinner in the Chinese restaurant.
13: Favourite film?
"Wings of Desire" , I have seen this film about 30 times, so far.
14: Share some wisdom?
Love your life, just as it is and always trust that whatever is happening is for your best.
Be as happy as you can, and stay in the now and keep your heart open with love.
15: If you were a tree, what tree would you be and why?
My answer is the same as Erin's, I would be a Maple tree! Because I love all things maple and
what a beautiful tree!
16: Fictitious characters who made a lasting impression on you?
Most of the characters in most of Shakespeare's plays, I won't name them as that would take way too long!
17: 4 words to describe you?
Creative, kindhearted, obsessive, passionate. That about sums me up :-).
Okay, now I tag:
Dawn
Emom
Jan
Sizzle
Yoli
Some of you I know are too busy and some of you have already been tagged, but if I did not name you and you want to do the tag, do it! If I tagged you and you don't want to do it, then don't :-).
Happy Thursday! XOXO

Dearest Annie,
I loved reading your responses and learning yet more about you. We have a lot of similarities including yoga pants and salad and the Dalai Lama. How interesting that you would want to be St. Francis! So you tagged me and I think I will play but probably not till this weekend. It will help if I can keep my answers short. I do tend to blather on. I've got a blog guest up now for a couple of days (come visit!), then after that perhaps? Sending you whooshes of love...

p.s. do you have any of those lovely bowls yet? are you interested in trading my book for a bowl? i'd be happy to cover your shipping costs. :-)

Hey, thanks for the tag! I went on a pilgrimage to Italy once with my parent's church and the priest running it was really fascinated with Saint Francis of Assisi so we went to Assisi to learn about him... it was lovely!
Also, you really are a very kindhearted person and I thank you for that.
:-)

Great answers, and I am overwhelmed by your description of me! I'm glad you're enjoying Emily Dickinson, and I too love St. Francis. I can see him in you. :0)

Annie,
Seeing I was so late in responding to the offer to purchase or trade for one of your beautiful bowls, why don't you take my name out of the running and draw with the other two people in mind. Sorry I was tardy on this. Lately it seems I am a bit behind on everything. :-) So much fun, so little time! Hugs!

Hia Annie, it's lovely to know more about you.

I'll have to look out for the film "Wings of Desire" I hadn't heard of it.

I liked St Francis of Assisi too- the first Saint that I "got" as a child.

I read your comment over at Freckled Writer and remembered I visited here long ago, and since I did this same meme a few days ago I thought I'd hop over here to read your responses.

Guess what? Your favorite movie is exactly what I just read as being my great blogging friend's favorite movie. I had just read her post an hour ago and thought hm, now there's a movie I never heard of.... Now this from you! Well, I did some initial research and find that it's based loosely on Rilke's poetry, he my favorite poet...and I never knew this? The blogosphere never ceases to amaze me for its capacity to instruct, inform, and delight.
(p.s. I'm ordering the DVD tomorrow!)

Sizzle-Save for as long as you need :-).
M.Kate-Big hugs back.
Melanie-Run right out and rent that film :-).
Lydia-I am so happy to be one of a few to turn you on to this film!
You will love it.
