Circling Around Trust

This photo has nothing to do with the post, I just think it's pretty :-). Life lately has been tough. There are a lot of things that happen that I choose to not write about here. Family issues, money issues and health issues are not things I really want to share, though sometimes I do. Lately I choose to keep them to myself or close friends. Many things have been weighing heavily of late and I have been having trouble sleeping. I worry, then I circle back round to trust. It always comes back to trust. Trusting what you may ask? Trusting myself and my intuition, trusting that I know or will know the right course of action. Trust in spirit, that I will be given all I need to move to the next step. Then I wake up and worry again, do my "Process", worry, process, but I always end up right back at trust. My goal is to just go to trust and leave all the worry in the trash where it belongs :-). Any thoughts on trust are welcome. Happy Saturday! XOXO

EPIPHANY!

I had a huge epiphany this morning, thanks to the wonderful writer Jan Frazier, she had a little audio on her site called Getting Unstuck and I listened to it and I cried the whole way through because she was speaking to me. What it all boils down to is that my whole adult life and some of my childhood I have been on a spiritual quest to wake up. Jan has woke up and she has become an important guide. What I learned this morning is so huge, so big that I know it is life altering, though what that will look like in time I have no idea. The main thing I learned is: You cannot take refuge in your larger being to avoid dealing with what is going on, the painful stuff. Wow.

I have been taking refuge in my larger god self my whole life, I thought it was what you did to be a spiritual person, to wake up. No wonder I have been feeling stuck for most of my life!!! It also goes along with my work with "The Process", part of the process is that you are to jump into the uncomfortable stuff, a step I sometimes gloss over. Clearly I like to avoid pain, don't we all? But Jan says in order to move away from the pain you have to feel it first, usually when I feel any kind of pain I use one of my spiritual techniques to push the pain away and I feel so good that I was able to stay happy. Nothing wrong with happiness, but nothing wrong with pain either, that's the point. I don't mean wallow in victim hood and woe is me, I mean just feel what is happening in each moment and deal with it instead of trying to always fix it. I know many of you are also on a spiritual quest so I wanted to share this information. Go here and listen to the audio yourself, you will be glad you did. Happy Sunday!!!! XOXO

The Lightness of Being

Lately I have been thinking about becoming lighter. I want to be so light that I float.
I am not talking about weight here, though being lighter in that way would be good :-).
I am talking about being light in my heart, being light in my thinking. I hang on to so much junk, junk that mostly comes from other people and junk that I make up, stories I tell myself that are not true, or even if they are, they are junk and I don't need it. All that stuff weighs me down makes me think that things matter when they really don't. I want to let go and fly. Since I have been doing "the process" (see other posts about this) I have become lighter. My goal is to have no goals :-). Except to lighten up, don't take anything seriously and have more fun. It may seem trivial, being light and having fun, but I think it is a very worthy goal, it makes one more fun to be around, it spreads joy, it heals. I am off to paint and glaze and start my Christmas list. I am off to float and fly. Happy Sunday!!! XOXO

Prayers Needed for Mr.B

This is my little B, I had to rush him to the Vet this morning as he could not urinate.
I have been worried about him anyway as over the last few years he has lost a lot of weight, and over the last few weeks he has lost more. I think he lost weight while I was away on my trip too.
He is home now, but not out of the woods, not by a long shot. He has a urinary tract infection, but my Vet thinks he could have a thyroid problem or cancer. We are trying a few things first before we go to the worst case scenario. Please think good thoughts and say prayers or do what ever it is that you do. I will be doing "The Process", it helped me a lot today. I spent a lot of money today, money I don't really have to spend, but I know that I will be taken care of, I TRUST that. I also trust that what ever happens
will be the best.
I also wanted to thank all of you who commented on my post about the ornaments (see post below), it was very helpful. I appreciate all your thoughtful and honest comments.
Love. XOXO
