This is my beloved Taos Mountain, it does not look like this right now as we have had nothing but sunshine for weeks, not that I am complaining, but I miss the snow.
Since it is Thanksgiving tomorrow I thought I would do a little post about the things I am most thankful for right now:
Family,
Furbabies,
Friends,
Good health,
Taos Mountain,
Art,
Making it and looking at it.
Margaritas,
I get to have some tonight, yay, I am not a big drinker, but I am in the mood tonight :-),
Rust,
I am having a love affair with rust right now, everywhere I go I look for rusty bits, I am so easy to please :-),
The way the light here in Taos is so magical at dusk,
The birds I feed that entertain me on a daily basis in my yard,
Good movies,
Good books,
I will finish my list with the magical #9, if you don't know why it's magical I will tell you: If you multiply 9 by any # and then add those #'s up, they always come out to 9, here is an example: 9 x 102,985= 926,865, added up=36 added up=9! Try any number, it will blow your mind :-).
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Love and kisses, XOXO

Happy Thanksgiving, Annie! I am thankful for friends like you. Enjoy your day and that sunshine. :) xox!
Happy Thanksgiving Annie. Did you know that a full moon is nine times brighter than a half moon? 9 really IS a magical number!! Lots of love and hugs. xx Jos
have a joyous day. that mountian is beautiful. interesting it doesnt come up in your paintings even in an abstracted way. i have a mountain near me that i see as i drive out to the main road. i did one painting of it, but now am thinking how much i like its shape against the sky and how i might do many paintings of it like Cezanne.
Pam, Thank you sweetie. xoxo
Jos, Yes it is :-). I love you and I am thinking of you.xoxo
Suki, I really have no interest in painting it, I know I can't capture it's beauty and it's magic, so I don't even attempt it :-). Good luck with your mountain paintings! xoxo
Happy Thanksgiving Annie - you show how much there is to be thankful for
You live in a magical area Annie.
I'm glad you have much to be thankful for :)
I like Suki's idea of painting her mountain ala Cezanne. perhaps you??
Hugs and love,
Lo♥
A lovely list!I hope you enjoyed your Margaritas. I've been busy multiplying everything by nine .... amazing!
We have two things in common from this blog post. I also am not a big drinker, but once in a while I get in the mood. The other day I really enjoyed a glass of Lillet. I love a frozen margarita on a hot day! And as you know, I also feed the birds. I would love to come see the birds that come to your house!
Beautiful pic of the Mountain Annie, & love your list. Glad you had a nice thanksgiving!
"rusty bits, i'm easy to please," that made me smile :)
I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. I know what you mean about rusty iron. I found an old Victorian headboard partly buried in our old garden- used to pen sheep once I think. I dug it out and cleaned it off and had it as a ballustrade by a barn with sweet peas growing up it. Treasure! I still like iron stuff. :-)
