I received my light cube and got lamps from Ace, but I was not able to get the proper bulbs for the best photos, I will have to budget them in next month as they are a whopping 25 dollars apiece! But I got better photos then I have been getting, though not perfect I will make do for a while.
This painting is triptych, 8"x 24", venetian plaster, acyclic, pastel graphite and collage on board. I did this piece 2 months ago, but this is the first decent photo. I included detail photos too, but you can enlarge them by clicking on them. The title is "Walk About".
I always love to hear what you think.
Happy Sunday! XOXO

Love the movement and the colors. Happy Sunday!
Oh Annie - I love this work! You got such great texture - and the colors and movement are just perfect. It's such a happy piece.
The photos are great too :-)
The cube is such a hassle to fold. I remember needing to look at the book every time. The trick is how you grab/hold it with your hands. I ended up trying to get it as flat as I could and storing it under my bed. I love being able to leave mine up all the time now!
ah, beautiful. i love the flow of the triptych. looks like a mural almost. i can see your work on a large wall in a public building somewhere.
glad you got the equipment you need.
I LOVE this, Annie. It is officially my favorite, so light and warm and free flowing and hopeful. This is good energy. Your pastel colors are just perfect.
Yay!
Love

Finally ... and so worth the wait. Just gorgeous Annie! Your photos look pretty good to me too. xox
This one is just lovely, Annie & so fun to see all your latest work in person! The photos of it really turned out nicely, but there is no substitute for really seeing them... hard to pull forth all the textural elements in a photograph. Wonderful to see you too! :)
Its a fun piece Annie. Love it ;) Missed you a lot, sorry, i've been such a slacker in blog land...slowly crawling back. Love and hugs always.
why does this remind me of the little prince? it looks like the moon maybe? anyway, love it talented annie!
Ah the little prince....yes!!!!
You are ALL so lovely. Thank you for the great comments! xoxo
Ah Annie, now I am home and can look at the pictures! Yay!!!
first I think this work is amazing. It makes me think about what it would be like to live on a planet with many moons ... there is something of the celestial about this work, at least for me with that raging red comet streaking across the sky and the lines describing the vraious orbits. It feels like massive amounts of joyful energy is present here. Love love love it!!!!
And love you too. Huge hug xx
Joss, Thank you. I love you too. xoxo
Beautiful Annie... keep painting oxo
WOW Annie! I LOVE theses! The colors and textures are amazing. I especially love the way that red pops out at you.
:) the word identification for this is "karma" - I love that! I've been thinking about karma a lot lately. :)
