Elk Sighting

These guys (just guessing) were looking for food in a field near where I was working. The field was full of cows and for a few tense minutes I thought there was going to be a rumble, but the elk backed off. It was wonderful to see them, thought I would share. Happy Tuesday. XOXO

I've never seen an elk in the real world so this is so exciting. Maybe they were there for easy food if the farmer had been putting out hayledge for his cows?

Wow. Elks... We will never have Elks in our part of the world. You are luck to have spotted them, am sure it is a 'good luck' sign. Thanks for sharing the photographs.

I love seeing them Annie.

Do you think that Randy and Bernice would meet up right now, if so, believe me she is going to make him blush.

Love Renee xoxo

Annie, when I see photos like this of creatures in the wild (big ones!) in America, especially, my heart just soars. I am so happy there is still a place for them here in this country that just seems to get smaller and smaller, more and more concrete everywhere. May we celebrate their wondrous presence in our lives!

Happy New Year, my friend. I wish you many blessings for well-being, prosperity and joy! xo

Amazing! Thanks for sharing them, Annie. A relative of mine that lived in Colorado told me that Native Americans consider elk to be healers. She used to have very bad migraines and a large herd of elk were grazing on her land. She went out quietly to sit under a tree and watch them and when they left she said she didn't have the headaches and they never came again.

They uplift my spirit and so do you. Thanks, Annie.

Am loving them!! Big animals are always a welcome sign....well, as long as they are not aggressive, or I am out of reach...smiles.

Happy New Year darling Annie.

I forgot to ask if you enjoyed your Christmas Day and made some good memories. I know about Randy and the sorrow and I pray for him everyday now, isn't that funny. He is gone now but I want him to travel sweet.

Please Annie could you tell your dear Robin Happy New year for me too.

Love Renee xoxo
