What's on My Mind

When wealth is passed off as merit, bad luck is seen as bad character. This is how ideologues justify punishing the sick and the poor. But poverty is neither a crime nor a character flaw. Stigmatise those who let people die, not those who struggle to live.

—Sarah Kendzior, A government shutdown, a social breakdown (via theyoungradical)

As one who has little money, and has worked hard my whole life, this strikes me where I live.
I am much better with the sinus infection (see post below), I eventually went to Urgent Care, it cost a small fortune for me, and I am hoping I can make it up, but thanks to Obama I  won't have to worry about it next time. Love your thoughts. XOXO

Hi Annie, I'm so glad you're better.

There is a lot of thought and perspective in your quote here . It costs so much to just live. Too much for too little. I hope the new year is super good to you. Boy did you create some awesome art this year.

Take care. Happy holidays, my frien

M.Kate, so happy to see you! I hope you are happy and well. Big hugs. xoxo

Kj, As a single woman who has devoted myself to my art by doing unskilled work to get by, hoping the art would support me, it has not, but still I am happy, it would be nice to have lots of money, but the main thing is health!
You have a wonderful holiday too!
Love, xoxo
