B Update

I am not giving up on my boy and with the help of my blogging friend Teri I am working to keep him alive. As I can't afford to go to the vet (I still owe them a bunch) I must do this on my own with some help from my friends like you and non bloggers R and V. I gave him fluids today as well as Spike. It can't hurt and it may in fact help. He did drink some water today and he ate a tiny bit of tuna. In the morning I am off to get more fluids and other stuff that Teri suggested and meat baby food. Only time will tell. Pray hard and think good thoughts. And by the way Spike is doing great. I am coming to terms with things and trying to keep happy. As the brilliant Renee says there are no more perfect days, only perfect moments. I am keeping my eye on the good moments when they come. Thank you all for being so great and loving. I love you. XOXO

Hugs Annie and good luck I hope it all works. Good that he was able to take some food and water.

I just woke up and felt I had to look on the computer. :-) 02:22 here. LOL

Oh dear Annie, I'm so sorry to read that Mr. B hasn't felt well either. This is just terrible. I deeply hope that giving him the fluids will help him as well as Spike. You are all in my prayers.

Hugs and love

Oh, gosh. I'm sorry B isn't doing well. (I also had a vet recommend Ensure for one of my cats who was too sick to eat.) I will keep you guys in my prayers.

BTW I got my package yesterday and everything is wonderful. I am thinking about a custom order for a gift--will let you know.

Reading this has brought tears to my eyes. I cannot stand seeing animals suffer... It's a good sign he could hold down some water and food.
Is there any way I can help, contribute to your "vet fund"? I really want to.

annie, i am so glad teri can help you. she knows her stuff, that's for sure. you can ask laurel www.studio lolo.blogspot.com too if needed--she is a home based vet tech and like teri knows the ropes.

my prayer beads are working overtime.

Sounds like you are doing the best you can for both kitties. This is a lot to take on, two sick guys. But glad to hear Spike has responded so well to treatment and the B showed some interest in food and water. Now, do remember to take care of you during this stressful time.
