Okay, so now you know what I look like, sort of, I really do have pretty eyes, but you can't see them because I am squinting into the camera and sun and I have to say I do not like my smile here, but I promised a photo so here it is, Kj of course looks fab :-) (she is the one in front). Those of you who do not know Kj, go to her blog and check her out. Kj is the first blogger I have ever met, I know there will be more and I can only hope that they will be as nice as her. I had to work the day I met her, so we only had an hour and a half, but we got to talk a lot and I could have talked all day with Kj and not run out of things to say.
One thing that struck me is that I have always wondered if people were the same on and off their blogs and after Meeting Kj, I can say, yes, and it made me so happy to know that. It is wonderful to know that the people I blog with would indeed be real time friends if we lived closer and could meet. We talked about other bloggers and how weird and wonderful the blogging world is, and one blogger that came up was you Renee, we have a mutual love for you and said a lot of nice things :-). We talked about everything under the sun and it was a bright sunny day, we met at one of my favorite coffee bars in Taos called Loka. Meeting Kj was the bright spot of my week. Thank you sweet K for making the extra effort to come to Taos.
P.S. Photos are by Kj.
Have a great Friday! XOXO

It's so wonderful to see your beautiful, beautiful faces!!!!!
I'm so glad you were able to actually meet in person. How cool is that?!?
Annie, I absolutely LOVEloveLOVE your hair! I let mine go gray, too, many years ago, only mine is really short. I wanted so desperately to grow it long like yours, but it's too coarse and uncooperative.
The one thing I really noticed about Santa Fe and Taos when we visited there a few years ago, was all the beautiful, stylish women with gray hair. Here I'm one of the few who goes au naturale. I prefer the style of New Mexico!
Love and hugs to you (and Spike!),
xoxoxo

That is wonderful! I am so happy for you Annie. I hope to meet blog friends one day.
Your smile is lovely- how can happiness be otherwise?
Awwww, Annie. Let me confirm what great company you are--easy to talk to, interesting, authentic.
Didn't that 90 minutes fly by! You are so sweet, so brave in alligning your beliefs and your actions.
I hop we will have coffee at Luka again one day.
Btw I think this is a very cute picture of you

Isn't it wonderful to have the reality as good as we hoped for?
Big Smiles to you both!
How fun! You are so pretty! Like someone else said, I love your gray hair! When mine begins to go gray, I'm going to let it. :)
Annie, It's wonderful to see what you look like. All beautiful smiles and excitement at meeting in person to share hugs and conversation.
Both of you have such happy, beautiful smiles! What more can ask for but happy smiles and good conversation? Have a great weekend Annie!
You both look so beautiful! I think those are the happiest smiles I've ever seen.
I've wanted to go to Taos for years. I look forward to meeting you when I do, Annie!

Hi Annie, I came over from kj's. I saw her photo on your blog (on her sidebar) and was curious. It's so nice to hear of your lovely meeting. I've had the pleasure of meeting 2 blogging friends as well and it truly was a magical experiance.
And I think the photo is gorgeous, of you both!

That is a super cute picture of you! I'm glad you two had a great time. :-)
you and kj look very cute, annie.
i heard kj is a nice person most of the time, but let me tell you she does not pay me enough money for being a guest blogger on her blog, and sometimes she squeals on me to my mother which is not very nice and then she doesn't always let me have my way when i cry or whine.
but anyway, she had a great time meeting you and did you know i was there too and i touched your shoulder even?
sincerely,
emily rabbit.

You are beautiful. kj is beautiful.
I knew you would be and I have seen kj before and so I already knew how lovely she was too.
I think that it is such a wonderful thing that you have met each other. I totally believe that we are the same on here as in person, I would be really surprised if it had turned out otherwise.
I love your hair, the colour is beautiful.
love Renee xoxoo
How exciting. I think you both look just gorgeous. and what fun to meet in person
I concur. Beautiful, beautiful. Love the hair and your brilliant smile and joy for life. So glad you got to meet a blogging friend. Isn't it grand!?
I am so glad you and KJ met up, both of you have such beautiful smiles. Hope the kitty is better.
If there is one fav post of yours I love, it is this Annie. Because I can the beautiful you and your friend, KJ. Very often through blogging, we get to meet wonderful people and some the best pals I have are bloggers now, almost all never met and most never seen. So, often I wondered how they looked like. Not long ago, blogger Shayla also an artist, posted a video of her teaching us art, I went back to see it again and again. Suddenly the blog, seems real as I am able to see for myself the real person. As we progressed in blogging, knowing someone not just from their writtings or pictures, but seeing their faces becomes very important..it sort of makes me feel more connected :) I am so glad you posted this pic..anyway, you know how I look like..warts and all haha!! I'll pop over to KJ and maybe we can meet one day :) Love ya !!
Meeting a blogger buddy is one of the things on my bucket list, and this post has inspired me to make it a resolution for 2010!
I'm glad you had fun with KJ and I hope you meet many more bloggers in the future!
PS - I'm here from Dawn's blog...just checking things out. :)
