NOW

Time for a cat photo. This is Max, sleeping in the sun. I have the day off and a long list of things to do. I will attempt to get some painting done as well. I need to focus on the now instead of letting myself get overwhelmed. It seems it is harder in the Summer as there is always more to do. Yet, I know that everything is under control and really it is only my silly mind that gets carried away. So that is my spiritual practice today, and everyday-Stay in the MOMENT!That is my advice to you as well :-). Have a wonderful Tuesday! XOXO

Listen to your kitty cat! See what he is doing!

This picture and blog post both remind me of what Eckhart Tolle says in one of his books: I have lived with several Zen masters, all of them cats.

Max is perfect for a post on being in the now - he's all about the flow of Well-Being.

And it seems like the more we go with the flow the more we have to let go of concerns about the future. There's just too much good stuff going on now!

Wishing you joy in this fabulous, eternal moment.

That's good advice. When there is a lot to do, just enjoy doing what you can.

You know Annie, I have had every animal you can imagine, from the cuddly to the scary and my love still belongs to cats. Thanks for posting, he is beautiful.

Lovely post Annie, I agree with you, yes, let's stay in the moment. I'd love to be Max, sleeping and lounging around the home is the best. love/M

Every time you post a photo of Max I get a stab to the heart, he's the spitting image of Tigger, and Booey for that matter, both of whom have passed on.

Lovely photo...it lowers your blood pressure to pet a cat, and also watch one sleeping
