In the afternoons it has been pouring rain and thundering here, it does it every July and it cools everything off. I love it. I tried to take a photo of it so you could see how hard it was raining yesterday. I have not been able to visit many of you lately because when it storms I have to turn off my computer and unplug the phone line as Willowtree has told me a surge can ruin your computer and I believe him :-). Also I have been painting every evening, I am really on fire and I have had another turning point. The painting I am finishing up this week is a little master piece and I am so happy :-). I will photograph and post the two new pieces soon as I should finish this week. I will come say hi when I can. Love you. XOXO

If you ever figure out how to take a photo that shows how heavy it's raining, please let me know! I've been trying for years without success.
Oh, I almost forgot...that's a pretty good photo.
You did good with that shot, I hope it cools things off for you. Here it usually just makes thing more sticky (but I don't mind).
Great shot Annie, I love the rain very much, not just during the monsoon when we have floods everywhere, plus no beach trip to the EAst coast. The turning point sounds very good and we cant wait to see your awesome painting. Happy week...but weekend is coming yahooo :D
Beautiful photograph. I love the rain.
You can't beat monsoons for uplifting your energy and the coolness they lend to the desert.
I love the smell before and after the rain.
I bet the land around Santa Fe is glorious right now.
I'm glad your painting is inspired.
that photo looks so refreshing at this moment! as you probably know it has been record breaking heat here for days. t was 106 today when i got home form work!
i love seeing the words "i am on fire!" as the description of how you feel about your art right now. you go girl!
annie, i like the way you are in love with most of your artwork. your confidence makes me smile.
keep going girl!
i think this is a pretty good photo of the rain. it poured and ppoured here all night and i did a short video of it but not sure that makes it any more effective although we have the sound. great about the painting.
I love the rain.
Annie, I am so happy that the rain enlivens you in this way. I just posted a "rain" video on my blog post of today. I bet you are going to love it. Rain Woman, I think I will call you. Hugs! Create on...
Your picture of the ferns in the rain looks tropical and lush. We had an gully washer yesterday, too, and then the air was clean and the sky so blue afterwards.
Willowtree is so right. I have an Unlimited Power Supply from Radio Shack which protects my computer, phone line and all of the peripherals plugged into it. It's a surge protector, also protects againts brown outs. It has a battery and if the power goes out I have 10 minutes to shut everything down properly.
You send out such happy energy! I just love visiting you.
Wishing you a wondrous day.
Ooh, a creative burst of energy, eh? Can't wait to see the fruit!
How refreshing! It looks wonderful. I hope the weather inspires you to even greater achievements.
Yes you can have your computer damaged by a storm. A friend had his computer burnt out when lightening hit his power line and it surged. You can buy surge protectors. We have them on hubby's computer and also an "uninterrupted power supply" which gives him 30 minutes to finish what he is doing and shut down his computer in the event of a power cut.
Sorry I forgot to say I couldn't pop in sooner Demon messed up our power supply so I didn't have a decent download speed to be able to load blogs to read.
Thank you for all your comments. I have a surge protector, but I have heard they don't work. More info please :-).
Very Zen-like photo, I think it captures the rain perfectly.
Hi, Annie. I've been away from my blog all summer. For awhile I had no Blackberry and couldn't even read other people's blogs, but they're getting added back into my Viigo. I think your life coach plans sound like a good fit. I find your posts very inspirational. You were finishing your book around the time I took a break from the Blogworld; did you find a publisher?
P.S. I'm sending you an email, so heads up in case I end up in your spam folder!
