i thank you God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is Yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday; this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings: and of gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any-lifted from the no
of all nothing-human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

This is exactly how I feel today. I have two new paintings started and the house is clean :-). I have the whole next 12 hours to do as I please and I please to paint and read and play and nap.

What an ebullient, wonderful way to start the day! Loved the poem and it's wonderful mood! Today I am sick so I'll be resting a lot but tomorrow will be another sunrise, and another experience! enjoy your day Annie! xo
Diantha-I am so sorry you are sick, hope you get well soon! xoxo
Wonderful poem. I was at your other blog and admire your work. Keep painting.
Found you on Tess' blog. Love the Buddha and positive energy here. Keep smiling and inspiring others. You do so effectively just as you are. This is a blessing to the world.
Hi
I love the ee commings poem and have only ever read the first paragraph. I love it!
Three new faces here today :-). That makes me so happy. Thank you Patrick. Liara and Tess for stopping by an leaving your lovely comments.
Wallow in the feeling dear Annie. Well done for biting the bullet with the house and freeing yourself for more creative things.
Lovely
I love all the joy you're sending out from this blissful home of happiness in New Mexico.
I've been writing, watched a movie, cleaned house some, visiting you and some of my favorite blogs. I'm getting ready to do some needlework -- just kind of floating in the flow of Well-Being today. I'd just paddle off to the next good thing. Wishing you a delicious day.
Weekends are all about being a slave to the house and children, garden and more cleaning...and as for today - Monday, I am mourning for Saturday already. BUT I am happy that you are happy, at times, you wont know it but I am wishing that I am as free as you are..to do the things I like, but I think that is very unlikely to do, maybe way much later..but then I'll be walking with a stick and can't do the things I do hehe :D Live for the day Annie, it's no fun being like us :(
What an inspiring poem. You are so "up" these days and it's catching. I thought it was funny that part of your bliss was that your house was clean. I feel better when things are clean and organized too.
Today I'll be planting winter seedlings: kale, chard, broccoli, etc. I'll check the apricot and fig tree and see if the fruit is ripe yet. I'll drive to San Francisco and pick up our daughter, who has been staying with her Aunt for two days. I'll take the kids to swim practice and continue my training for my triathlon. I'll fold 5 loads of laundry, pick up the house, work on a post, and make dinner. I'll read and sack out.
Melaine- I always have to start with a clean house :-).
Suzanne and Dawn-Thanks and Suzanne it sounds as if you are having a blissful time too.
M.Kate, Yes, but you have a most beautiful home, my house is a bit more humble :-). There is sometimes a price for freedom.
Kristin-My you are a busy woman!
Sounds good though.
Good for you! That's how I feel when I get the laundry done during the week and then have the whole weekend free. So happy for you.
