More on Trust

I feel as if I am on a special journey here and I love that I get to take you along with me, and at the same time I feel as if there may not be a journey if I did not have you to share it with.
It seems as if this blog make things more possible, because I write it and share it, it has to come true. Does that make any sense and do any of you feel the same way?
The adventure I have started is one of trust and being brave. I am finally learning to trust myself and to trust spirit. Some friends and family support this adventure and some are really afraid that I will end up on the street. Living with trust from day to day, without a job or money coming in on a daily basis, is scary. It is probably the scariest thing I have ever done.
I am hearing many stories of others who live this way, and guess what, they are not homeless, they are thriving and living the life of their dreams. These stories of success make me bolder and braver.
To have confidence in my art, to know that spirit is calling the shots and going ahead of me and creating miracles and meetings and helping me make my way, that is the way to success.
I told you all that I got a new gallery, but I never told you the story as to how it happened, and I think I should, it will help you see what I keep babbling about :-).
For a while now I have been visiting a friend's mom in a nursing home (G), now G has a roommate (E), E has a son (B). The son and I were talking one day and I mentioned my paintings, he just happened to own a gallery(I had no idea he owned a gallery). I took pieces down for him to see and B and his wife loved them.
That is how spirit works, no fuss, no muss. No striving or pounding on doors.
Where all this will lead, only spirit knows, but I am going to continue to float down this river and see what happens. I am so glad you are here to go with me :-).
Happy Monday! XOXO

OMG!!!
You are so smart to "get" this so young. I was older than you when I first started to suspect that the universe was indeed conspiring on my behalf. Artists must rely on the kindness of those about us....as we are (or tend to be) too busy creating to mess with details...GOOD FOR YOU!!!TRUST-TRUST-TRUST!!!

Emom-Young, you think I am young? Wish that I were, 53 may be young to 70 year olds, but no one else :-). Actually I "Got" it long ago, but getting it and living it are two different things :-).

Brave One. I think that is your name. May you live by it and know that the River takes you closer to her bosom to mirror your own strength.

Annie,
These are wise thoughts and a powerful process. Trust is the ultimate challenge, letting go into trust...I love how you have given voice to what is happening in your life as your trust grows. Trust grows, blessings come.

Challenges do too, but our trust carries us through those difficult times, and, truly, they are much less difficult if we trust. This is all a beautiful cycle unfolding and you are a vibrant part. Very exciting. And so glad you allow us to journey with you in this way. One of the blessings of blogging, for sure! (I would never have taken you for 53. You seem like a sprite. :-) Hugs!

p.s. I am going to post your Q & A this week. I promise!

I love your story, Annie. I think that's exactly how creating is meant to work for us -- easy, fun, everyone benefiting in lovely ways. It inspires me to read about it. Wonderful!

Annie, you are the bravest person I have known and I do mean it...leaving everything as it is and having complete trust in how things will evolve, well..not exactly what everyone will do. Not me and I am being very honest on this, but somehow it works well for you. The calling of the universe is responding well and I am so glad you shared it with us, it motivates me too in many way, and I love you for that...hugs..........M

Hi Annie,
Just wanted to let you know that I posted the answers to your wonderful questions today on my blog. Sorry it took so long! My daughter is now home from college and things are a bit chaotic here. Not getting as much computer time as usual. :-) So stop by and take a peek when you can! Hugs!

i'm really glad you came over to get some good advice from miss buddha bird Olivia :) it isn't easy to let go of life as we expect it to be and live and trust that things just might be ok... maybe even better. i have had many experiences in that teach me to put the next foot in front of the other and that this will be the path to...? well it just emerges, now doesn't it?! it is that stepping, not waiting, but doing the next right thing that takes us on the journey to what you are calling 'spirit'. it is a hard road and yet maybe it it the only there really is and we just fool ourselves into thinking we are in control during those times when things go smoothly and predictable. it is temporary, as everything truly, truly is. sorry for the long response but you always get me to thinking about my own life. take good care and i love your story of G, B and E :)
