Well, here they are. They did not turn out perfect (darn glazes), but I think they are still cute and I like them a lot. Because they are imperfect I won't put them on the Etsy site, but if any of you want one, you can make me an offer or a trade plus shipping and I would be happy to consider it. If nothing else I will give them as gifts or use them myself :-). I have had a fun couple days. I went out to visit my sculpture friend J and I got my hair cut. Now it is time to get some more art done. Let's see, more ceramics or work on the paintings? Not sure which is calling me, or perhaps both are. I hope you are having a good week. XOXO
P.S. Bowls are 31/2"x6", all handbuilt.

Ooh, I like 'em! I have a thing for white and black and red together and the theme of hugs and kisses (or is that tick tack toe?) is fun!
I love these bowls Annie! Who cares if they aren't perfect! What of value in life really is! I would be honored to do a trade with you but I don't do art. I do have color cards or a book on color or color sprays. Take a look at my website and see if we can work something out. www.lifepotentials.net It is being redone but you can still see the old one.
Annie,
These are darling! Congrats their cuteness. I agree with Diantha. Who cares about perfect. When is art supposed to be perfect. I think their slight imperfections make them what they are...
annie, you may be poor these days but it sure seems like you are having fun!
hope your weekend is terrific.
xo
Both are beautiful and I like them in their imperfect form, it's art on its own. New haircut..come on, give a peek ;p
happy weekend Annie.........hugs/M
Hia Annie, your whimsical crown is very beautiful. I think sometimes it does us good to "out with the old and in with the new". To have physical space helps us get mental space for new ideas.
I would be honoured to own a piece of your artwork. I do like the black and white one with the bead looking work around the base. Is there anything I could make for you? I don't have a shop, but am open to ideas for you.
These are just so much fun! I love the whimsy in them. What a gift to make such beautiful objects with your hands! :0)
cheerful is the first one. elegant the second. love the X's and O's. you are so clever. have a fun weekend.
Girl those rock!
Thanks everyone for your comments. Melanie and Life Potentials-Thank you for your offers. I will get back to you. A friend in Taos wants to buy the xoxo bowl and money trumps trade right now, but I will think about what to do and let you know.
You really can see your own lovliness!
I LIKE THE STRIPE LEGS ON THE FIRST ONE
RAINING THERE? IT IS HERE
Annie, the bowls are wonderful examples of how good it is to embrace Wabi-Sabi.
There is perfection in their imperfections ;)
I love them!
Hi Annie, these are lovely bowls. I have always loved the idea of working with clay and creating things like this, however I have resolved my self to painting (the wheel and I just do not see eye to eye! LOL My daughter is the potter in the family, really.
These pieces are truly clever and fun!
Also thank you so much for your lovely thoughts on my blog. We bloggers love our comments, don't we?
Have a Fun Weekend!
