Just in time...

Well, some jobs came in. Short, time wise, but intense physically, so I may go missing for a few days this week. I am so thankful for the work. I would rather sell paintings, but spirit knows what it is doing, so I won't complain :-). I am getting the hang of this new life of living by the seat of my pants and I am developing quiet a taste for it :-). Much more exciting way to live than 9-5. There are many more important things than security, which is false anyway. In other news, my friend L had a wonderful show yesterday, many important people came and many pieces were sold! I love it when my friends are a success. Congrats L! Today, is another 24 hours in which I can do what I want, so I think I will go for a run, lay low and read, work on Erin's painting and watch an art video on Alice Neel, now she was my kind of painter! I am always so inspired by artists who are true to themselves, and she was an original. What are you up to today?
Have a wonderful Monday! XOXO

What am I up to? Umm . . some yard work? (I keep promising to do it, but end up sitting down here blinking at my computer screen. . . )

Wow, congrats on some work! Short-lived work does sound a lot more enjoyable than a 9 to 5 type of thing. I'm also looking for ways in which I can make money by flying by the seat of my pants. : D Maybe seasonal work or something, along with selling articles. Enjoy your day Annie! I'm going to lay on my new hammock, probably all day. Maybe work a little on my book. And maybe just maybe...paint. Since you mentioned painting. I'm going to have to check out Alice Neel.

Congratulations on the work on your willingness to trust the spirit. I should have your book ready to mail back to you tomorrow. I'm learning lots from it...

Mary Ellen-Thanks for stopping by. I know what you mean, I say the same thing everyday, I never get to it (yet).
Starlene-You sound busy for someone in a hammock all day :-).
Erin-You are amazing.
Teri and Dawn-Thanks :-)

GOOD FOR YOU!
Work, when we really love it, is the best thing for our soul, I believe.

Hi Annie I'm so pleased something turned up. I couldn't do 9-5 either.

Here I have just posted my Give away parcels (it was a Bank Hols weekend here in the UK) I have a list I ought to look at now and see what appeals most on it apart from hang wet washing. :-)

May your day jobs also bring new insight and open you more to your creative spirit.
