This is a poppy I photographed at work yesterday. I love
poppies a lot, but they don't bloom for long. Today I want
to share a few things. First I had an incident the other day
and it made me mad at a friend who did not do what I thought
he should do. After being mad all day I realized that I was being
really silly. I remembered to quit judging and to quit being offended
by what others do. If you wait until everyone thinks like you or
does what you think is right to be happy, you will wait a long,
long time. I let my anger and judgement go and I felt so much
better. Life is just too short to be offended and hurt, even if
you think you have a REAL reason to be hurt. Why make it
worse? Now on to really important topics. The smiley face.
I have noticed that I use them way too much. I think I counted
at least three in my last post and it was a short post. I am tempted
to use a smiley face right now, but I am not going to do it. I
feel I may be getting too old for things like smiley faces. Could
you all help me with this? Is there such a thing as too many?
Is a young 52, too old to use them? Also hugs, I fear I overuse
them in my comments to other people's posts. Are smiley faces
and hugs uncool, or immature? Should I be above caring if they are uncool?
On that note have a wonderful Thursday. Insert smiley face here, if you want to.

again..never seen a poppy here, but great reading as usual :)
I like hugs online, and smiley faces. Who cares about age anyway? You're never too old to smile!
Pretty poppy too. Don't see them that often here, except in paper form every Remembrance Day!
(((((((((hugs))))))))) :D ;)
hahaha! No, they are not immature or uncool. We can't make our tone of voice heard through comments and emails so smiley faces help. I like them. Keep it up. :-)
Love your hugs and smiley faces!!!!!
Very pretty poppy. :)
You are all so lovely and helpful :-). And HUGS!!!!
Why should anyone be too old for smiley faces?!
I don't know if it's a gender thing, but I rarely use smileys, I find profanity works best for me.
Well, I love the smileys and the hugs. If you start dotting your I's with little hearts we'll start to have a problem...
:)
