I read this poem on Raven's blog, I had to share.
"I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance,
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom, and that which came to me as blossom, goes on as fruit."

Annie, Love this poem...I agree with you totally :D
This is so beautiful and good words for me to remember as sometimes I get afraid and in truth, what am I afraid of. Unless a tiger is running towards me, or more realistically a car heading towards me, in which case fear is relevant towards saving my life, other than that then what am i afraid of.? My self?
I've heard this before and looked for the book in the library... I can never find it.
Thank you for this today. I needed it.
Love it.
xoxo
:-) good thoughts!
Somedays putting both feet on the floor to start the day is my act of bravery. Of course, those are the days I set the bar pretty low::>)
As they said back in the day, "Keep on truckin'"
Wonderful poem, wonderful sentiment...when asked if I believe in life after death, I'll generally say that I'm more interested in finding life before death, rather than acting like it's all just a prelude to something else....
Very inspiring Annie, thanks for sharing
