New Painting/Collage

This is the only painting in the new series that will be going to my ETSY site for now, it will eventually probably go into the shop in Ranchos plaza, so this is for a limited time only.
It is a 16"x 16", venetian plaster, oil, graphite, pen, paper, cold wax on cradle board, titled "Crow on Wall"
I know boring, if you have a better title please share :-).
Happy Easter everyone! Have a joyous and happy day.
I always love to hear from you.
XOXO

wow annie, now it's the iron oxide red in the center that pulls me! and that green - i just love the green you're using...

the words 'respite' and 'refuge' come to mind as part of a title, i guess because the crow seems to be in a refuge to me. 'ignatio's respite'. : )

happy easter, annie, i love how true you are to yourself and your passion for the art within you. there is increasing movement in your pieces, even in their serenity; at least that's what i think.

I immediately thought of the Treasure Island map when I saw this piece. It is like the breath you take before setting off on an adventure, but you know the adventure is about to happen.
