New Website

I let my old, dusty, unmanageable website go a while ago and I needed to build my own. I found a free site and have been working for the last two weeks to get it done. It still needs a little work and I need to add some paintings to it, but I wanted to show you and get some feedback about what you think of it.
Go Here.

Have a great week!
XOXO

It's nice and clean. Loaded fairly easily on my not so high speed.

I haven't visited in ages...I am more than behind and lagging sounds about how I feel, lol. But I saw your blog come up that you had a new site, so I had to come and take a look.

I like it! I like the font for the Title and links, very crisp and architectual, if that is the right word. And just right about of space between the text and the artwork, too. Very pleasing to the eye.

I like the art you picked for the home page, too. I don't know if you can make less 'white space' below it or add another work of art, but I scrolled down expecting something...maybe it's just the way my laptop sees your page (they always say to look at your website on different computers to see how others might see it.

Should your Artist Statement stand out more by being one of the Link 'titles' rather than be hidden under more? Your artist friends would be better able to advise you on that rather than me, lol.

Anyway, good job and success with the changes, too. I like your new site, very clean and professional, with still a link to your blog and the archives which are so enjoyable.

Sorry to hear about the flu hitting you. Getting ill alone is one of my fears too, and I was glad to know your friends all helped nurse you through...

Barbara, Thank you for your input.xoxo

Teri, I am behind visiting you too!
Thank you for your comments, As for all the white space under the home page, I could add some words I suppose, but as for the artist statement being hidden I did not do that I think I ran out of space, there is nothing I can do about that, but maybe make my titles shorter. I did not like it either.
I am glad you are staying healthy and I hope all the kitties are well too.

hey annie,

wow, i love it... love the font you chose for your name and the headings - it's a very clean look that spotlights your work beautifully. the only thing that doesn't please my eye is the 'create a free website' thingie at the bottom of the page. this picky virgo wants to just get rid of that... : )

xoxo

Annie - I just visited your site and it is gorgeous! I love the white, and that font you picked is so clean and crisp. Perfect counterpoint to your work, I think. I looked at all your work (I LOVE Five Moons - OMG!) and it looks cohesive and amazing. Yay you! xox

Lynne, Thank you! I think I can get rid of that thingy, but I left it for my friends that may be looking for a free site, I will likely take it away at a later date :-).xoxo

Pam, Thank you sweetie, love your input, glad you like Five Moons :-). xoxo

I like the clean and airy look that all that white creates. And I like the way the white sets off the colours of your work. Clasical lines and look which is very ummmm I can't think of a better word than classy. I hope you are fully recovered now Annie. Much love xx Jos
