so glad bella is doing well, ie: well enough to go through the healing process. she has a good and loving mom.

this is amazing, the painting. the shape in the center looks 3D!

Suki, Thank you sweetie, Bella is mostly sleeping, and looks like the elephant man, but she will get better day by day. xoxo

Love all the color in your last 2 paintings. So sorry to hear about Bella- that is just awful, but glad she is going to be ok.
Sorry I've been missing your posts Annie... so busy w/ work, class... and now it seems I have the flu, so I have been down for the count.

Hi Sweetie! I just read about Bella, and I'm so very sorry she was bitten! (I've been wondering how you have been doing. . .) I'll keep you both in my prayers, but in the mean time I'm glad she's doing better already.

I really love the red you're using in you art these days. Very hot!

For a small painting it's got a lot of detail and color--cool!

What an interesting piece. Is it a fallen beehive, a plaster cast, a vase- ooo so many possibilities to ponder on.

Ouch sorry to hear about Bella. Glad she is recovering.

Fabulous painting, Annie, such depth. Reminds me of an ancient time and yes Africa too. What does this portal hold: it's solid and mysterious. Like a wasp nest

See , look how many images you've stirred me to! And not even yet mentioning that red that I know know is your red

Kisses for Bella. Love heals all wounds....

A beehive? I like it.

Thank you for all your lovely comments, they mean a lot. It is not a beehive or a wasp nest or a basket, it is a rock that sits by my bathroom sink :-). xoxo

Such interesting perspective in this piece. It looks like the circular shape projects right off the canvas.
And yes, that's a terrific red!

Awesome to hear Bella is progressing!

How interesting! I feel like I'm looking at a portal to another world or dimension. And interestingly enough I just started reading a Steve Pavlina article about how he thinks of it as switching dimensions when he wants to make a significant change in his life. I've been playing with some of his ideas. http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2012/03/how-to-switch-dimensions/

I like the energy of your talisman in the midst of those vibrant colors. I love seeing your paintings. Wishing you much joy, dear friend.
