Animal Wednesday

Yesterday, when I planted my flowers, the boys went out with me. The cats can only go in the yard when I am there, as we have lots of mean dogs about and coyotes not to mention fast cars, so they are mostly indoor cats, but they love it when they get outside. There is no picture of Max as he does not stop moving enough for a photo :-). Happy Wednesday!. XOXO

I am sooo behind in visiting and commenting..am at work but just had to say, love your garden and your plantings and your kitty pix--the one behind the wrought iron is exquisite!

Good for them that they do have the opportunity to get some sun and fresh air sometimes. I always feel sorry for indoor-only cats.

Looks like they enjoyed watching you work. :-) My hounds are like that and love sunbathing when I hang washing outside.

Teri-Thank you, that is mr. b, who you helped save! xoxo
EOM- I feel badly for them too, but sometimes it can't be helped.

Kj, They all eat the alfalfa(it grows like a weed in my yard and the roots go too deep to dig out)and then they all throw up, it is lovely. xoxo
Pam-I have 3 cats too. Spike and B and Max who is not pictured. I would love to know how you get started with a children's book and who you talk to, and do you do your own art for the book? Thanks Pam! xoxo
Babs-Thanks :-). xoxo
melanie-Yes, they like to watch and they are my helpers when I paint too.xoxo
Joss-I see that Spike has captured your heart. We will make you a cat lover yet. He is a very sweet and loving boy. xoxo

Your animals look so handsome! How do you get them all back inside? Do they listen to you well? My cat, Middi, does not listen to me when she slips outside and I simply can't catch her till SHE's ready to come in, so I have to be VERY careful to not let that happen.

You are wise to keep a close eye on your treasures. My brother nearly lost his small dog to a coyote who came through their fence. :-) May your gardening days be lovely...

Oh what a beautiful patio garden you have. Also I love the new look of your blog, which I did indeed notice a few nights ago.

Adorable!!! My two spoiled ones are only indoor cats. Don't want flees on them or to get hurt by a dog.

Aww that is sad. My cat used to love sitting outside in the sunshine. Another fav spot was the window sill. Which spot do your kitty-cat's love best?
