"Dreaming of Paris #2"

This is my second painting using the new techniques. I did an under painting first that you can see peeking through. This painting is Venetian plaster, acrylics and gouache and pen on board.
12"x 12". Let me know what you think, I love to hear from you. XOXO
P.S. I am having a sale on my ETSY shop just for my bloggers, see post (2) below for details, runs through tomorrow at midnight :-). Thank you Kate P. for your purchase today!

Looks like you have been having fun today! I like the idea of under painting... something hidden but with a hint of what's underneath!

It looks so happy like a circus! I like this new tangent for your art. It's good to have the partly revealed layers too.

Bright and festive - like a New Year's Eve Party! Love the multi-layers. Well done!

from the front,it looks like a fringed leather native american purse/satchel with a wild, contemporary flair. It like the layered look you make with the plaster.

Wow! Exciting motion and colors. Made me think of the art classes who came in to do research in the library today. . . their one teacher said that they are going to "translate color into texture." Interesting!

I love this! I reminds me of a cake, too! I really like the swirls and circles, and the under-painting peeking through.
