I've been thinking...
I have come to a few conclusions and I thought I would share some wisdom that has come to me the last couple days. I have been having some back, neck and shoulder issues. In doing a little soul searching I realized that besides doing hard physical work on my jobs and on my big painting I was also holding stress in these areas because I had started taking life way to seriously :-). The message my body is giving me is to lighten up. So for this weekend that is my goal. No painting (even though it gives me great joy, I sometimes need a break from it), and no work. No house cleaning, no yard work. Nothing but fun. I am not sure what that will be right now, I am winging it. I thought perhaps given the fact that we are all so busy, you (all my lovely blogging friends) could benefit from this message also. Happy weekend! XOXO

Fun, I am trying to remember what it is. I do remember and I need to implement some in my day.
Thank you for the reminder.
Renee xoxo

You definitely can't take life too seriously!! Enjoy!
You have a wonderful blog. Love seeing your work every now and again when you give us a peep. -Jayne
Hi Annie,
You sound so peaceful. Sometimes I think we need to relax to let our bodies adjust to having that high bliss energy, too.
We're having a beautiful weekend here in Indiana -- hot, but beautiful. Wishing you a beautiful day, too.
Well I do relate, tho painting is fun (heck work can be to at times), there are times to step away and RELAX! It comes in many forms, some of which may surprise you! "Step away from the stress and find a way to relax! Then your creativity will flow.
Yep, sounds like stress alright. But you might think about checking your BP as well, that can cause neck and shoulder problems too.
I absolutely believe in having fun. In fact, I try to remember to stop myself and ask at times is this fun. If it is not, and I dont abslolutely have to do it, I may just stop doing it or do something that makes it fun. For example you have to go food shopping unless you have your own bountiful garden. If it isnt feeling fun, either dont do it today or do it in a way that is fun like exploring a new organic garden place or something. Life is too short. Have fun.
I firmly believe that if we listen to our body, it will guide us "home." We do tend to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. I am glad that you recognized this and will allow yourself to move into greater ease. Because, after all, everything really IS working out isn't?
I had a significant should arm/shoulder issue going on earlier this year. It finally came to that it was housed in my right arm, the arm I do everything with. And that was the point, I was overextending myself. Doing too much. I made adjustments in my life, and as I did, my arm began to heal. :-)
May you be happy and well this day Ms. Annie...
Relax...
Breath...
Smile....
And, here is the deal...
when you open yourself up to all that the universe wants to give you...
the only thing you must carry is your faith....
in the power of the universe to carry you.
Fun, huh?
Smiles...
Of course...
I will want you to remind me of this someday soon...
BIG smiles.
I need a week of fun. That sounds like JUST the ticket.
I would love nothing but that - do nothing and have fun :D
